dc.description.abstract | In this task I will look at the mathematics subject in the elementary school in a bit more practical view. I have decided to focus on the fraction subject, more specific to teach the students what the fraction concept is all about. So in this context I have not focused on calculation with fractions. My issue for this task is: How can the use of concretes and practical mathematics task increase the students understanding for the fraction concept. My approaches to this issue have been to design a didactic program and try it out on a fifth grade class. How this went and the results can be found in this task. | no_NO |
